Grew up and took this world head on.

Apparently, all I had to do was clear my cache. Pretty gay.

Anyways...

now I completely forgot what I was going to say last night. J
ust great! Just. Great.

Friday night:

Just makes my moms house even creepier.

Saturday night:

Taco Cabana run at around 4a.m. No flash, because then I'd just be a dick.

Sunday night:

Le olde school Guitar Hero II. Not really "old school", but whatever.

Have a Happy New Years; don't do stupid crap. Knock on wood.

Todays "Listening to:" is a little faster [from what I usually post] by a band that I don't think many people have heard of. At least around here. Last.fm has them at 46,987 scrobbles(?), or play counts. Not much for that site. Which is weird, because it's pretty
catchy. It's rock; I'd say more, but Wikipedia barely has anything.

I had a hard time choosing which song to post. I'll just post the longer one, which has two songs in it.

So, enjoy.

What the hell? Blogger is messing up, or something. No longer able to change font, font sizes, add photos, etc. I had pictures!

Can't do anything, basically.

Sorry.

CHORUS

CHORUS by :
we all wanna be the intellectuals we say we hate
i've run out of time, it's just too late
so we all wanna run, but where we runnin' to?
we all wanna fight, the things we cant construe

once a year
i exit this cave
the past is boring
i leave to see what i'm missing

i'm not missing much

lets crave the rotten fruit we so dearly need
and throw the chocolates against that fruity seed
who needs comfort when you can have pity?
Who needs love when you can live off of being pretty?

i know what you're thinking now
but i expect to live in the present tense
i need to move around, make some sound
i don't know if i can handle the suspense

so we juxtapose with a song
with no chorus, no beat
we'll be here all of tomorrow
you'll be in for a treat

Well shit. I think I started this post two hours ago. I got sidetracked by reading the scariest shit ever.

Me, being part navajo, this scares me shitless, just reading about skinwalkers.

Yeah, you're interested now, go ahead and read.

Some Navajo also believe that skinwalkers have the ability to steal the "skin" or body of a person. The Navajo believe that if you lock eyes with a skinwalker they can absorb themselves into your body. It is also said that skinwalkers avoid the light and that their eyes glow like an animal's when in human form and when in animal form their eyes do not glow as an animal's would.

A skinwalker is usually described as naked, except for a coyote skin, or wolf skin. Some Navajos describe them as a mutated version of the animal in question. The skin may just be a mask, like those which are the only garment worn in the witches' sing.

Because animal skins are used primarily by skinwalkers, the pelt of animals such as bears, coyotes, wolves, and cougars are strictly tabooed. Sheepskin and buckskin are probably two of the few hides used by Navajos, the latter is used only for ceremonial purposes.

Often, Navajos tell of their encounter with a skinwalker, though there may be some hesitancy to reveal the story to non-Navajos, or (understandably) to talk of such frightening things at night. Sometimes the skinwalker will try to break into the house and attack the people inside, and will often bang on the walls of the house, knock on the windows, and climb onto the roofs. Sometimes, a strange, animal-like figure is seen standing outside the window, peering in. Other times, a skinwalker may attack a vehicle and cause a car accident. The skinwalkers are described as being fast, agile, and impossible to catch. Though some attempts have been made to shoot or kill one, they are not usually successful. Sometimes a skinwalker will be tracked down, only to lead to the house of someone known to the tracker. As in European werewolf lore, sometimes a wounded skinwalker will escape, only to have someone turn up later with a similar wound which reveals them to be the witch. It is said that if a Navajo was to know the person behind the skinwalker they had to pronounce the full name. And about three days later that person would either get sick or die for the wrong that they have committed.

According to Navajo legend, skinwalkers can have the power to read human thoughts. They also possess the ability to make any human or animal noise they choose. A skinwalker may use the voice of a relative or the cry of an infant to lure victims out of the safety of their homes.

The legend of the skinwalker tell of god giving the people a gift of transformation and was used only against their enemies. Over time, the people began to abuse this power, thus bringing god to earth to reclaim it. Some gave the power up and others hid with it and passed the knowledge to others.

AHHHH!

Camera. It begins!

I finally have a camera now.

This is either good or bad. It will probably take over my life. That being said, I'm going to start taking pictures and uploading them on here from time to time.

I promised myself I wouldn't take pictures of myself. (Only upload pictures with me in them). This isn't some gay blog when people just upload pictures that they take of themselves when they're chillin' in their bathroom, half naked, shooting from different angles. I try to make this a classy blog. No shit.

Sometimes I'll explain the pictures, sometimes I won't. Depends on if I care or not. (or my mood, whatever).

The first picture is of my sister with her brand new Rudolph doll. If you squeeze its ear, Rudolph's nose will light up. It's pretty neat :D

Merry Christmas; I want to take you home.

It's 12:35AM right now.

It's pretty lonely right now, too; quiet.

That picture is the creepy hallway that rules over the living room at my moms. (click on the image; takes it to it's original size; creepy as hell).

The same room that has a the tree in it.

It doesn't even feel like Christmas; it has yet to hit me. (Not that I have long to realize that it has).

I don't know. I guess I just lose track of time... or something. I don't know, something weird.

I've been listening to this song for a while, now. I'm pretty sure it will be tonights (this mornings) "Listening to:"

Atlas Sound -
requiem for all the lonely teenagers with passed out moms

so many things
she's passed out drunk
i'm seventeen
on the t.v. screen
a preacher sings
glory be to him
i want to invite you home
i want to invite you home
i want to call you on the phone
but it's too late
i know what you're dad would say
he'd say "it's too late to call"
i write you a note
in ball point pen
i left it all in
i slip it to you
in the hallways
in the hallway
i want to ask you home
i want to invite you home
i don't want to be alone anymore
and in the hall
you slipped one back into my palm
it says "i'll never come home with you"
so after all I've been let down
I've been let down
it's nothing new
i can handle it
i can handle it

Pretty chill basically. Good for something at a time like this.

The ground is steady beneath my feet.

Well, Christmas is a day and a week away.

Ohhhh, the excitement.

I think, that it's time to add another thing to the list.

If you don't know, here's the list so far:

- life watch (read: The Search Continues!)
- most ballin' head massager ever (read: Here Comes The Indian)
- the worlds largest shot gun (read: Here Comes The Indian)

- 'shocking' (pun intended) key fob (read: ???)
- pink hat (read: ???)

I know you're jealous of this.

I would be too; this list is freaking amazing.

Hm... what would I like...

(Before I forget, I would like to take some of this time (thinking time? I don't know.) (parenthesis inside parenthesis? I don't know either) to say thanks for the presents I have received so far!)

("thanks" is italicized for emphasis!)

I would like... this unbelievably deformed Darth Vader Plushie!

Yet another wonderful creation!

They're around seven inches tall; packed with style and class.

If I don't receive one for Christmas, I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up buying all of them and re-enacting a super cute version of Star Wars in my bedroom.

Er, I mean, wait, no.

I meant doing manly stuff. In my bedroom. And everywhere. Always manly stuff.

Look! My guns are huge!

physics

First of all:

Screw that bridge and everything it stands for. It's not even fully complete yet.

Dammit.

The basis, reason, and retardation of this project is equivalent to the band Boston and any number divided by zero.

It's almost done though, just have to glue/tape a few more parts (that I already have made and cut out).

Secondly, I love Sundays.

Well, that's somewhat of a lie. I despise them and I love them.

They suck because you know you have to go to school/work the next day; that kind of mentality just bums me out; but, I always look forward to them.

What's unfortunate is that people suck and are horrible at making decisions! I'm sure you've all heard/said that once before.

Another thing wrong about Sundays are Sunday nights. They're the worst of the worse.

Just sit there all lonely (or, even more lonely in my case), wasting time.

Fun. Right?

Luckily for me, I can say that I've been spooked by Spagett, and it feels awesome.

Spagett!

damn. it's lonely.

If I get a camera for Christmas, expect a lot of pictures. Remember stuff, cry later.

It's all in your head.

I'd just like to say, thank you for taking the time to read this; I really appreciate it.

Two weeks later, they're back to being nothing.

This mornings "Listening to:":

The Mars Volta - Vicarious Atonement
Don't you pretend
That I'm not alive
My bones never ache
Unless she's nearby
Where is your face
In a safe dead of tongues
I can see your reflection
In your totem first born
I suspect
You've been carrying a pack of wolves
I regret
Not killing you while I had the chance

Maybe I will always haunt you
Mark the somnolence with truth
Better hang your dead palace
That have a living home to lose
In the River Ganges god damns my name

Don't let these hands
Sharpen your eyes
A rasp of tails

Wouldn't you love to be on the cover of a magazine?

Um. I think I have shown this video a lot on my blog.

It's just that cool.

I recommend watching it, or at least listening to it.

The Sea and Cake - Leeora

I own the album, so I could potentially make it downloadable if you guys like it; just the problem is is that I don't have it on this computer. It's on the computer at my moms.

So, next time I go there (maybe next weekend) I'll upload it. The original song doesn't have two-three minutes of instrumental weirdness, though.

What's everyone doing for holidays? It's coming up soon!

What kind of presents do you want?

As most of you know, I have made an awesome list:

- life watch (read: The Search Continues!)
- most ballin' head massager ever (read: Here Comes The Indian)
- the worlds largest shot gun (read: Here Comes The Indian)

- 'shocking' (pun intended) key fob (read: ???)
- pink hat (read: ???)

Pretty cool, huh?

Yeah, I thought so too.

It's pretty unfortunate that the things I want are unbelievably unrealistic.

I don't know what I really want for the holidays.

If you don't know already: I'm horrible with decisions and timing.

So, asking this question to me and actually thinking you'll get a quick response is just madness.

Madness I tell ya'!

Todays "Listening to:" is by the oh-so-wonderful Pedro the Lion!

Here's the lyrics to waste some space:

Pedro the Lion - Magazine

This line is metaphysical
In on the one side, on the one side
The bad half live in wickedness
And on the other side, on the other side
The good half live in arrogance
And there's a steep slope with a short rope
This line is metaphysical
And there is a steady flow moving to and fro

And oh, look, you earned your wings
Are you an angel now, or a vulture
Constantly hovering above
Waiting for a big mistake
Oh my God, what have I done?
Oh my God, what have I done?
Oh my God, what have I done?

Wouldn't you love to be
On the cover of a magazine?
Healthy skin, perfect teeth
Design to hide what lies beneath

I feel the darkness growing stronger
As you cram light down my throat
How does that work out for you?
In your holy quest to be above the reproach

Wouldn't you love to be
On a cover of a magazine?
Healthy skin, perfect teeth
Design to hide what lies beneath, what lies beneath

Next post will have all the music I have uploaded so far, since I think tomorrow won't be very exciting.

This is weird; I'm unbelievably tired. Woke up at 6 AM just to take the SAT (which went alright, by the way).

I've been up for... almost 18 hours now.

Yay...?

Not going to say much, just lyrics to todays "Listening to:"; hope you like.

TV on the Radio - Satellite

Your voice was a satellite spinning next to me
Now I can't hear

Over the radio, someone said a satellite just went down into the sea
So I go

I fathom league
s
I am the undertow
I wait peacefully
Now I'm waiting for a signal or a sound
Where can you be found now, my love?
Where can you be?
Waiting for a signal or a sound
Your heart
Was that burning eye

Went weeping gamma rays
Down from black sky

Soul stitch

I'll be your satellite
Video covering
Infra-red light
Where can you be found now?
Where can you be found now, my love?
Where can you be?
Waiting for a signal or a sound.
